Accounting Technician - Dublin 24 Reed has the pleasure of assisting our Client based in Rathcoole. You will be joining a distribution organisation in a busy and friendly team. The environment is very fast paced with lots to learn and plenty of chance to develop. Duties in the role: The position reports to the Finance Manager Assisting the Finance Manager and the accounts team in the day to day accounting function Being responsible for processing and allocating invoices to accounting system Assisting the team in processing supplier invoices for Accounts Payable Assisting with Banking, client bank reconciliations, petty cash Ensuring certain key critical systems are reconciled and balances available Reconciling and posting to system certain internal outlays Monitoring financial transactions Review of accounts payable payment runs Submission of all BACS and DD files for the finance department Preparing accounts, reports, budgets, commentaries and financial statements Calculating end of year accounts Administering payrolls Ensuring compliance with taxation legislation Monitoring company/department financial transactions and controlling budgets Preparing accounts, budgets, reports and financial statements Reed Specialist Recruitment is an Employment Agency and an Employment Business for permanent and temporary recruitment.
