Job Description

Job Specification Title: Accounts Assistant My client, one of Ireland's leading Golf and Tennis clubs located in Dublin. They are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their highly motivated and driven team. The successful candidate will be responsible for partnering with the Finance/Accounts Manager to ensure accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and all other membership receipts and expenses are processed and recorded in line with current procedures. Responsibilities: Analysis of nominal ledger income and expenses Weekly Bar and Catering income and lodgements Weekly Green Fees income and lodgements Weekly competition income Monthly payroll, pension, and revenue returns Monthly creditors invoice processing, payments, and queries Debtors invoice preparation, receipts and queries as required Monthly input of all expenses, income, and journals on Sage Yearly and ongoing processing and receipt of members subscription income, discounts, and entrance fees Daily bank reconciliations and queries Quarterly reconciliations of all other balance sheet asset, liability accounts and control accounts Update membership package Jonas Requirements: Experienced Accounts Assistant with 2 years' experience Excellent computer skills particularly in Excel Proficient in using accounting software, preferably Sage Jonas database experience desirable Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and demands in a professional, accurate and timely manner Highly analytical with high levels of attention to detail Self-motivated and team player Flexible and willing to work additional hours as required from time to time Possess the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality at all times If this opportunity is of interest, please contact Olivia Wallace at the enclosed address.
