Accounts Assistant - Limerick We are thrilled to be partnered with a growing and dynamic organisation who are currently looking to onboard an Accounts Assistant to their team. This position offers industry experience and fantastic future prospects within the company. Responsibilities: Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate financial records, including reconciling bank statements. Accounts Payable: Process supplier invoices, manage supplier payments. This would also include subcontractor invoices and payments. Financial Reporting; Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including monthly management accounts and year end financial statements. RCT: Prepare and file all aspects of Relevant Contracts Tax (RCT) returns, ensuring compliance with Irish tax regulations. Payroll: Prepare and process weekly and monthly payroll ensuring accurate and timely payment. Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the finance team, including filing, handling mail and making phone calls. Audit Support: Help with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information. Requirements: Education: Leaving Certificate and completed bookkeeping courses and exams, gaining a solid foundation in accounting principles and practices. Experience: Previous experience in similar role, ideally within the construction industry. Technical skills: Proficiency in accounting software Sage and Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel. Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with accuracy in financial record-keeping. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Organisational Skills: Strong organisational skills and time management skills Hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm.
