Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to fill an Accounts Assistant position for a maternity leave contract. The successful candidate will work closely with our accounting team to ensure the smooth operation of financial processes within the hotel.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reconciling bank statements and ensuring accuracy.
  • Supporting the daily income audit process and cash control.
  • Communicating with customers and managing accounts receivable.
  • Processing invoices on the procurement system and reconciling suppliers.
  • Monitoring and reconciling expense reports to ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Accurately inputting financial data into accounting software and maintaining records.
  • Assisting with audits and providing documentation as required.
  • Providing administrative support to the finance department as needed.

Requirements for the position include:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in a hotel finance role is desirable.
  • Familiarity with accounting software and the ability to learn new systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to adapt to new tasks and procedures as needed.
  • Integrity and confidentiality in handling financial information.
