My client, based in Rathfarnham, run 7 gyms around Ireland and are expanding all the time. They are looking to add to their team an experienced Accounts Assistant on a part-time basis. The Accounts Assistant will be accountable for taking charge of the daily accounting function including credit control procedures and preparation of financial reports suitable for presentation. This is a permanent position, and the successful candidate will work Tuesday-Thursday 9am-5.00pm. Responsibilities for the Accounts Assistant include but are not limited to the following: Assisting with preparation of monthly management accounts Bank and credit card processing and reconciliations. Creditors reconciliation and preparation of monthly supplier payment list. Intercompany reconciliations. Liaising with internal staff in relation to general finance queries. Dealing with supplier queries. Preparation and processing of electronic transfers and payments for authorization. Recording and posting transactions to the accounting system (SAGE). Performing the month end closing process and reconciliation of the ledgers, including bank and general ledger reconciliations. Assist and support with annual statutory audits. Assist with revenue and reconciliations. Ad hoc duties when required. Attributes & Skills Accounting Technician qualification or equivalent 3+years of relevant experience in a similar role Strong use of Excel. Familiar with accounting packages such as Sage. Ability to work on your own initiative. Clear communicator. Close attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills. Ability to work to deadlines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Salary and Benefits Salary€40,000-€45,000 pro rata Hybridworking. 12Annualleavedayswithlongserviceincrements.
