Job Description

Reporting to the Finance Manager, this is a fantastic opportunity for an Accounts Assistant who is looking for more experience and who wants to progress to preparing a full set of accounts. Role is located in the South city centre and office based Mon-Fri. Role Responsibilities: Posting of purchase invoices to Sage50 Accounts Issuing of sales invoices Producing monthly payment list for approval Posting all receipts and payments Performance of monthly reconciliations Preparation of accruals, prepayments and other routine journals Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports Assist in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings Prepare monthly cashflows Prepare Intercompany reconciliations on a quarterly basis Support and assist with the annual external audit General finance and office support Candidate Requirements: 2+ years of professional experience in similar role. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work to deadlines. Ability to work in a team and on own initiative.
