Accounts & Finance Specialist - Part Time

Are you an experienced Accounts & Finance professional who is now looking for a part-time or reduced hours role in the Limerick region? Our client, a long established business consultancy in Limerick city, is expanding their operations and has engaged with us in Cpl to help fill this newly created permanent position on the accounts team.

The Job:

As a key part of the business operations team and reporting directly to the company founder and CEO, you will cover a broad range of duties across accounts, finance, and corporate administration to key individuals and the wider team.

This will include duties such as:

  • AP & AR processing
  • Multi-currency bank reconciliations
  • Reporting on investment trends
  • Preparing complex financial KPI reports
  • Filing registration documents
  • Handling compliance/audit processes
  • Controlling budgets
  • Registering new commercial entities
  • Project management
  • Query resolution

Your Skills/Experience that we need:

  • 3rd level degree qualified ideally
  • An additional accounts/banking qualification (e.g., Accounting Technician) would be an advantage
  • 4-5+ years broad based experience in a relevant accounts or financial services administration role
  • Excellent IT skills including a high level of ability in all Microsoft applications
  • Strong analytical, commercial, and business acumen skills
  • Proven ability to work on your own initiative
  • Full and clean Irish driving license

The Offer:

This job is being offered on a permanent basis with salary, benefits, and overall package flexible depending on candidate qualifications and career experience but is expected to have a base salary of between 35-45k pro-rata.

This role is expected to be approximately a 20 hour working week and can be designed to suit you (e.g., 5 mornings or afternoons, 2.5 full days, etc.) and would be primarily based at home/remote with limited time in the office.

Candidates without the relevant visa/work permit to live and work in Ireland will not be considered.
