Accounts Payable Team Leader Opportunity
Seeking experienced Accounts Payable Team Leaders for a leading Financial Services company in Northwest Dublin. The role involves guiding and mentoring a team, overseeing day-to-day payables activities, and ensuring prompt payments and receipts for customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guide, mentor, and review workflows for 2 team members
- Plan and manage day-to-day activities of the accounting operations team
- Approve day-to-day tasks of accounting administration team, including data reconciliation checks and bank reconciliations
- Manage stakeholder mailboxes and ensure all correspondence is professional, timely, and accurate
- Act as escalation point for internal and external customer issues
- Assist with review and development of policy and procedural documents
- Perform administration tasks, including payments processing and direct debits processing
- Lead projects and assist with month-end processing
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4-6 years' strong end-to-end payables experience in a large organisation
- Team leadership experience advantageous
- Strong knowledge of PO and manual and automated processing, payment runs, and query resolution
- Degree qualification in a Business or Finance-related discipline is an advantage
- Strong Excel skills and interpersonal and relationship management skills
