Accounts Payable Specialist Parkwest, Dublin 12 - Permanent Salary: €40,000 - €45,000 Hybrid Working - There will be one day initially working from home after probation My client is seeking to appoint an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist on a permanent basis. Candidates will need to have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role. A good working knowledge of Excel is required. Experience of using an ERP system would be a distinct advantage Key Responsibilities: Maintenance of bank and posting of bank transactions Preparation of payment run and upload to bank Preparing and inputting all purchase invoices onto the accounting system and allocation of payments Dealing with Purchase Order queries, matching PO's to supplier invoices and related tasks Help integrate new acquired companies to AP processes Reconcile vendor statements promptly and resolve any discrepancies Monitoring of the AP Mailboxes on a daily basis Multi currency bank payments Provide administrative support to management on ad hoc requests Support the Continuous Improvement Projects and other initiatives undertaken within the team Assist with external auditor queries Key Skills: Results orientated with strong attention to detail. Proven track record in introducing process improvements. Strong financial acumen and the ability to perform a hands-on role. Excellent communication, customer care and interpersonal skills. Excellent planning and organisational skills. Strong IT and Excel experience.? Team player. Ability to use own initiative.
