Accounts Payable Specialist - South West Dublin My client who is truly a leader in their industry design, manufacture, and distribute a vast portfolio of gifts, souvenirs, and bespoke products. They are sold into retailers, airports, gift shops, museums, and well-known visitor centres and tourist attractions in Ireland and all over the world. They are recruiting an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their finance team in West Dublin. This is office based and usual hours are 9 to 5 Monday to Friday but there is some flexibility around start and finish times. Free parking on site. The ideal candidate will have experience with Microsoft Business Central (Dynamics) or another accounts system coupled with the ability to manage a high volume of transactions. Salary & Package Salary is up to €47k, but this must reflect experience 5% Pension Contribution Life Assurance, two times your salary Responsibilities for the job of Accounts Payable: Process and verify invoices, expense reports, and payment requests for accuracy and completeness Match invoices with purchase orders and receipts, reconciling any discrepancies Code and enter invoices into the accounting system, ensuring proper allocation of expenses and general ledger coding Prepare and perform weekly or monthly payment runs Maintain supplier records and manage the accounts payable supplier database Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any billing discrepancies or outstanding issues Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries and resolve payment-related problems in a timely and professional manner Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals, account reconciliations, and financial reporting Collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing and goods inward, to resolve invoicing and payment issues Complete and file all monthly VIES/Intrastat with Revenue Contribute to process improvements and the development of accounts payable best practices If you want to hear more about this opportunity, please apply.
