Job Description

Accounts Specialist role in Limerick city centre for a major corporation in property & real estate sectors, requiring 3-4+ years' experience in accounts focused role, strong IT & reporting skills, and excellent inter-personal skills.

Job Description:
As a key member of the finance team, you will report directly to the Finance Director in Limerick and cover a broad range of duties primarily focused on accounts processing & financial administration for property entities in both Ireland & internationally.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Updating & monitoring financial agreements
  • Allocating creditor/debtor payments
  • Reconciling accounts
  • Analysing budgets against cash flow & expected income
  • Resolving queries & discrepancies
  • Preparing accounts/financial reports for departmental managers
  • Preparing the monthly & quarterly management accounts

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3rd level degree qualified ideally
  • Accounting Technician or part-qualified accountant ideally
  • 3-4+ years' relevant experience in an accounts focused role within a corporate or multinational environment preferred
  • Excellent inter-personal skills & ability to interact with colleagues across the business
  • Strong IT & reporting skills including high level MS Excel knowledge
  • Exposure to Bluebox property management software would be a significant advantage but is not essential

Offer:
This position is being offered as a permanent role with base salary depending on skills/experience but expected to range between 40-50k approx.
In addition, there is significant scope for further career growth & development.
This role will be 5 days office based in Limerick city centre.
