About Your New Job My client are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Qualified Accounting Technician or Senior Accounts Assistant to join their team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards. This position is an in-office role however the hours can be flexible if required. Responsibilities: Conducting regular financial analysis and reporting to management. Managing accounts payable and receivable functions. Preparing and processing financial transactions, including invoicing. Reconciling financial discrepancies and resolving any accounting-related issues. Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. Collaborating with internal teams to provide financial information and support. Assisting in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts. Contributing to the improvement of accounting processes and procedures. What Skills You Need Qualified Accounting Technician qualification (e.g., ATI, IATI) or equivalent or sufficient experience in similar role. Proven experience in a similar role, demonstrating a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in accounting software i.e. Sage and MS Office Suite. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
