My client is seeking to recruit an experienced Accounts Technician. My client is a 3-partner chartered accountancy firm located in Ashbourne, Co. Meath, conveniently situated less than 10 minutes from the M50. The firm caters to a diverse client base across various industries, including hospitatlity, retail, IT and more, providing audit, non-audit, and sole trader services. Duties & Responsibilities Prepare working papers and financial statements in line with applicable standards and procedures. Provide management accounts for select clients, typically on a quarterly or bi-annual basis. Prepare, complete, and file VAT, VAT RTD, and RCT returns. Assist in the preparation of draft year-end files. Perform bank reconciliations. Efficiently manage and resolve client queries. Work independently or collaboratively as part of a team with minimal supervision to ensure smooth progress. Perform additional tasks and duties as required by the business. Qualifications & Experience: 3+ years of relevant practice experience in a busy firm. Certified Accounting Technician or IPASS qualification. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently. High attention to detail with a proactive approach to managing workload. Ability to handle pressure and prioritize tasks effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly intermediate-level Excel. Experience with Sage Accounts and Accounts Pro software.
