We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Activities Assistant to plan and deliver engaging activities for residents in a leading Nursing Home Group in Ireland.

As an Activities Assistant, you will play a vital role in designing and delivering activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents. Your primary responsibility will be to plan and execute a range of activities, both group and individual, that promote physical, emotional, and social well-being. You will work collaboratively with our nursing staff to ensure the highest standards of care and support are maintained.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the nursing staff in providing holistic care to residents
- Plan and execute a comprehensive activity calendar in advance
- Deliver activities that cater to diverse needs and interests, including group and individual sessions
- Collaborate with residents, staff, and family members to develop activity plans
- Report any changes in resident condition to the trained nurse
- Transport and assist residents during activities, adhering to manual handling best practices
- Ensure Health and Safety Awareness and maintain effective communication with staff, residents, and family members
- Comprehensive induction training to enhance your skills and knowledge
