Job Description
Our Public Sector client is looking to bring on a program manager with experience in community development and the social economy for a contract position.
This role can be based in one of their many national offices located in:Dublin, Cork, Limerick, Galway, Kilkenny, mullingar, Sligo, Monaghan, or Clifden
- Programme Management:
- Develop and execute a strategy for service delivery excellence and community impact.
- Maintain strong stakeholder relationships and ensure effective learning and feedback are used to improve future work.
- Coordinate support and training aligned with sector developments and customer feedback.
- Manage programme teams and ensure consistent progress toward goals.
- Oversee community engagement and partnership efforts, ensuring alignment and efficiency.
- Drive new business development and contribute to organisational growth strategies.
- Service Development:
- Promote continuous improvement and adaptability in service models.
- Oversee programme implementation and ensure timely delivery.
- Collaborate with teams to refine service offerings and programme design.
- People Management:
- Lead and develop staff, ensuring clarity in expectations, performance management, and adherence to standards.
- Foster a problemsolving, agile mindset in a fastpaced environment.
- Ensure effective team management and resource allocation.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders and key organisations.
- Ensure effective coordination and support for services across business units.
Qualifications:
- 34 years of professional experience, preferably in local/community development and the social economy.
- Experience with social inclusion and employment/enterprise.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint)
