Seeking an Admissions Administrator to manage patient bookings and admissions, providing exceptional customer service and maintaining accurate records.

About the Role

As an Admissions Administrator, you will play a vital part in ensuring a seamless and positive experience for patients and visitors.

  • Manage the end-to-end booking and admission process for patients, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Maintain effective communication with consultants, colleagues, and other departments to ensure smooth patient admissions.
  • Accurately handle patient records, data entry, and billing processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage patient bookings and admissions, ensuring a seamless and positive experience.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Maintain accurate records and handle data entry and billing processes.
  • Work effectively within a team to achieve departmental goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • Leaving Certificate or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in an administration role.
  • Customer service-oriented with a professional telephone manner.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within a team.

Desirable Criteria

  • Previous secretarial/administrative experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Previous cash handling experience.
  • Experience with a Patient Management Systems.
