Job Title: Admissions Administrator Location: Limerick About the Role: We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Admissions Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring that the admission and booking process for scheduled patients is a seamless and positive experience. This is an opportunity to work in an environment where quality, respect, care, and compassion are at the heart of everything we do. Hours: 35 hours per week. Shift patterns rotate and range from 7am to 7pm. Flexibility around working days and shift times are an inherent part of this role. Occasional Saturday shifts are required. Key Responsibilities: Manage the end-to-end booking and admission process for patients, ensuring efficiency and accuracy. Provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. Maintain effective communication with consultants, colleagues, and other departments to ensure smooth patient admissions. Accurately handle patient records, data entry, and billing processes. Work as part of a dynamic team, maintaining strong relationships and contributing to the overall goals and objectives of the department. Essential requirements: Leaving Certificate or equivalent. Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in an administration role. Customer service-oriented with a professional telephone manner. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a team Ability to multitask and adapt to changing demands Desirable criteria: Previous secretarial/administrative experience in a healthcare setting.
