**Job Summary:** Seeking experienced psychiatric nurses to join our team at St. Patrick's Mental Health Services, providing high-quality care to adults and adolescents in a dynamic and supportive environment. **Job Description:** We are inviting applications for the position of Staff Nurse, where you will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for adult and adolescent patients. As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for: * Assessing patients' care needs and developing individualized care plans * Providing evidence-based care, respecting patients' individual needs and preferences * Collaborating with other professionals to achieve high-quality patient care * Participating in quality improvement activities to maintain a safe and effective care environment * Supervising and supporting less experienced staff members **Key Responsibilities:** * Provide nursing care to adult and adolescent patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care * Collaborate with other professionals to achieve high-quality patient care * Participate in quality improvement activities to maintain a safe and effective care environment * Supervise and support less experienced staff members * Participate in ongoing professional development activities to maintain and enhance clinical knowledge and skills **Requirements:** * Current registration with the psychiatric division or eligibility for registration with the nursing and midwifery board of Ireland * Proven ability to establish solid working relationships within an organization and with service users * Excellent clinical knowledge and experience in psychiatric nursing * Post-registration experience is desirable * Adolescent applicants only: adolescent mental health nursing experience desirable **Working Conditions:** * The standard working week is 75 hours per fortnight, worked over a Monday-Sunday week or Monday-Friday week, on a rotating shift basis * Salary will be dependent on experience and based on the SPMHS 2024 Staff Nurse salary scale * Annual leave and pension scheme available **Company Overview:** St. Patrick's Mental Health Services is the largest independent, not-for-profit mental health service provider in Ireland, offering a range of job opportunities in psychiatric nursing.
