Job Description

Job Summary: Aeronautical Communication Specialist provides operational support for international aviation services, facilitating safe and efficient communication between aircraft, air traffic control, and other stakeholders. Job Description:

To perform operational duties for the provision of Aeronautical Mobile, Fixed and Broadcast Communication services to international aviation.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Liaise between pilots of aircraft and air traffic control centres.
  • Provide joint aeronautical communications with NARTEL stations.
  • Coordinate Search and Rescue (SAR) operations.
  • Work with radio network centres, airline operating companies, and other agencies.
  • Operate computer-based flight data processing systems.
  • Operate computer-based message switching system for flight data exchange.
  • Supervise automated broadcast system for weather information dissemination to aircraft.

Key Skills:

  • Typing speed of at least 30 words per minute.
  • Ability to work independently and unsupervised.
  • High level of English language proficiency.
  • Strong initiative and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
