After School Together CLG is a childcare provider based in Newcastle, Galway, offering a safe and stimulating environment for children to thrive in after school hours.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced childcare professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of child-centred approaches and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality childcare and education to children in the afterschool program
- Implement and adapt educational activities to support children's development
- Maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with parents
Requirements:
- Minimum Level 5 in Early Years or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in a childcare or teaching setting, preferably with children aged 4 years and older
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong understanding of a child-centred approach
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
