We are looking for Healthcare Assistants who have:
- A reliable, caring nature
- A minimum of 6 months experience in a nursing home or hospital setting
- QQI L5 in Healthcare
- Eligibility to work in Ireland
The role involves assisting facility staff with individual care plans, daily tasks, and activities to facilitate the wellbeing, dignity, and treatment of residents.
- Assist residents/patients with personal care, including bathing, personal hygiene, and ensuring compliance with healthcare legislation
- Observe and monitor the wellbeing of residents, reporting any unusual occurrences to senior staff and documenting appropriately
- Assist with mobility and transfer using specialised equipment
- Participate in unit/ward meetings and report writing
- Answer call bells and maintain unit/ward cleanliness
- Maintain and develop good professional relationships with residents, colleagues, and visitors
