Experienced Agile Coach

A leading financial services organization in Dublin seeks an Agile Coach to drive transformation initiatives and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

About the Role

This role requires a professional with strong expertise in Agile methodologies who can lead and support Agile transformation efforts across various teams and departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support Agile transformation efforts to ensure alignment with organizational goals and delivery timelines.
  • Provide hands-on coaching to Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and teams to deepen their understanding of Agile principles and practices.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure effectiveness and productivity.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and help teams improve their delivery capabilities and Agile maturity.
  • Work closely with senior management and other key stakeholders to align Agile methodologies with business goals and promote cross-functional collaboration.
  • Help teams implement key metrics and reporting structures to track Agile performance and productivity.
  • Assist teams in navigating challenges, removing blockers, and resolving conflicts within and between teams.
  • Provide guidance on scaling Agile practices to larger programs or portfolios where necessary.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Agile Coach with a minimum of 5 years in Agile coaching within large organizations, ideally within financial services.
  • Certifications in Agile coaching or certifications in Scrum are highly desirable.
  • Deep understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and scaled Agile methodologies (SAFe).
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, guide, and mentor Agile teams.
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders and influencing cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to translate Agile concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Previous experience working with or within financial services organizations is highly desirable.
