Job Description
Agri Market Facing Underwriter role involves managing farm protection business, developing relationships with customers and distributors, and contributing to proposition development.
Zurich Insurance Europe AG, Ireland Branch is seeking an experienced professional to join their Personal Lines Department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build relationships with key customers and distributors
- Manage strategic distributors' agreements and terms of business
- Underwrite and analyze new and renewal business
- Measure exposure and analyze risk
- Quoting and setting coverage for cases not automatically rated/accepted
- Negotiating terms and conditions
- Contribute to managing accounts
- Implement agreed technical standards, controls, practices and procedures
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 Grade C3/H5 at Higher Level in the Leaving Certificate (or equivalent)
- Bachelor's degree and/or relevant professional qualifications
- Minimum 3 years industry knowledge in Commercial Insurance Underwriting
- Excellent technical insurance knowledge, including specific knowledge in the Agricultural sector
