We are seeking an AI and Emerging Technology Governance Specialist to collaborate with governance and compliance teams in developing and implementing the Med-Surg AI governance framework. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of AI technologies, experience in governance, risk management, and ethics. **Responsibilities:** • Develop and implement the Med-Surg AI governance framework based on guidelines from various compliance and legal organizations and McKesson Technologies. • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to AI. • Develop ethical guidelines for the use of AI based on company guidelines. • Develop processes for managing the risks associated with AI and data science. • Conduct risk assessments of AI and data science systems. • Provide guidance to stakeholders on the ethical use of AI. • Stay up-to-date on the latest developments in AI and governance (US and European Countries). • Provide analysis on impact and trajectory of legislation. • Represent Medical Surgical at AI and ML governance forums within McKesson and seek out external references. **Qualifications:** • Master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. • 5+ years of experience in AI or related fields. • Experience in governance, risk management, and ethics. • Strong understanding of AI technologies. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Professional certifications in AI ethics, data privacy, or regulatory compliance will be a plus. • Familiarity with relevant regulations and frameworks, such as GDPR, HIPAA, and ethical AI guidelines. • Willing to work US East Coast hours. **Benefits:** • Competitive salary and benefits package. • Opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI technologies. • Chance to make a real impact on the future of governance. • Collaborative and supportive work environment.
