AI Engineer Are you an experienced AI Engineer who is keen to gain exposure and work closely with a team of experts in AI, data science, and software engineering to create innovative applications? If so, this may be the role for you! This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our Dublin office. What the day will look like Researching, experimenting, and benchmarking state-of-the-art NLP and LLMs techniques and frameworks Developing, testing, and deploying scalable and robust NLP, LLMs and other AI pipelines and systems using cloud computing platforms, such as Azure and AWS Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to understand the business needs and deliver high-quality AI solutions Maintaining and adhering to Aon’s AIOps framework, driving the adoption and use of consistent AI design patterns Documenting and presenting the results and insights of your work to technical and non-technical audiences Skills and experience that will lead to success A master's or PhD degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, statistics, or a related field, or equivalent work experience Experience in NLP and LLMs, with a proven track record of contributions to large AI domain software and data engineering projects relevant to the financial services and insurance industry Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with common NLP and LLMs libraries and frameworks, such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Transformers, SpaCy, NLTK, etc. Experience building industry-grade LLM technologies and Gen AI architecture, leveraging state of the art services like DSPy, and building and maintaining Compound AI systems Good knowledge of cloud computing environments, such as Azure and AWS, and experience in deploying and managing AI applications on the cloud Knowledge of Microsoft AI services desirable A passion for learning new technologies and staying updated with the latest research and trends in AI Aon values an innovative, diverse workplace where all colleagues feel empowered to be their authentic selves.
