A hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our Dublin office, Aon is shaping decisions for the better to protect and enrich the lives of people around the world.
As an AI Engineer, you will:
- Research and experiment with state-of-the-art NLP and LLM techniques and frameworks.
- Develop, test, and deploy scalable and robust NLP, LLMs, and other AI pipelines and systems using cloud computing platforms.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver high-quality AI solutions.
- Maintain and adhere to Aon's AIOps framework, driving the adoption and use of consistent AI design patterns.
- Document and present the results and insights of your work to technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A master's or PhD degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, statistics, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in NLP and LLMs, with a proven track record of contributions to large AI domain software and data engineering projects.
- Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with common NLP and LLMs libraries and frameworks.
- Knowledge of cloud computing environments and experience in deploying and managing AI applications on the cloud.
