Summary: Air Quality expert needed in Dublin or London to support global environmental programs, air emissions modeling, permitting, and compliance for AWS in EMEA and APAC. The AWS Environmental team is seeking a skilled Air Quality expert to join a dynamic team responsible for developing and implementing global environmental programs. This individual will support air emissions modeling, permitting, and ongoing compliance for AWS in EMEA and APAC. Key responsibilities include: * Supporting the growth of the business through technical reviews of air permitting, air emissions modeling, air impact assessments, and air quality management in EMEA and APAC regions * Developing and driving regional strategic air programs and goals to improve internal processes and capabilities * Leading change in multiple jurisdictions and influencing stakeholders * Ensuring work performed by contractors, consultants, and employees is completed in accordance with Amazon standards * Developing environmental metrics to measure, monitor, and forecast performance * Prioritizing and managing multiple technically complex assignments concurrently * Representing Amazon at appropriate levels with governmental agencies and throughout the company * Building collaborative relationships with stakeholders to ensure risks are identified early and managed appropriately * Completing thorough and accurate environmental air quality incident investigations and developing appropriate corrective actions **Requirements:** * Bachelor's Degree in environmental engineering, geology, geography, biology, chemistry, or related field of study * 5+ years of experience serving as an environmental technical resource, air quality expert, environmental manager, program specialist, or program manager * Experience in air quality modeling, permitting, and assessments in multiple regions * Broad knowledge of regional environmental regulations and programs * Project management skills with proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Windows Operating Systems * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Experience in a fast-paced, changing/growing organization * Strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem-solving ability
