Job Description
We have been retained by a leading aircraft leasing company seeking an experienced Chief Risk Officer. As the CRO, you will spearhead risk management strategies, ensuring the long-term health of the portfolio. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will play a crucial role in driving informed decision-making throughout the organization.
This is a unique opportunity to lead risk management for a prominent aircraft leasing and financing company with ambitious growth plans.
Responsibilities:
Lead deal origination and negotiation, including credit analysis and customer KYC.Manage the transaction evaluation process, ensuring critical deal issues are identified and risk-reward trade-offs are considered.Monitor financial performance of lessees and counterparties, keeping senior management informed of developments.Oversee risk distribution across the portfolio (credit, jurisdiction, asset type, etc.) and present quarterly Portfolio Quality Reviews to the Board.Lead the firm's Enterprise Risk Management process and update Risk Appetite Guardrails annually.Manage and develop a team of risk management professionals across Dublin, Singapore, and Stamford, CT.Requirements:
BA/BS degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred.Minimum of 10+ years of experience in Aircraft Leasing Risk Management.Proven track record in risk assessment, portfolio management, and credit analysis.Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.Strong financial acumen and analytical capabilities.Location: This position can be based in Dublin or Stamford.
