Job Description

The primary purpose of this role is to develop credit strategies for new business lending, including the design, build, roll out and monitoring of automated credit rules and models across all the Banks credit products. The role will also involve designing robust datasets to perform ad hoc and deep dive analysis that will generate meaningful insights to facilitate data-driven business decision making and help the bank to deliver its strategic initiatives. Responsibilities: Support the development, analysis and implementation of Credit Risk Strategies. Develop MI reports to meet management and executive requirements, with value-add analysis and interpretation as appropriate. Test changes/enhancements to the front-end decision engine. Build large datasets that are robust and efficient for use, helping to maximise speed of developments through efficient coding and automation. Requirements: Essential 1+ years experience working as a risk analyst, business analyst, model developer, data scientist or data analyst. Honours Bachelors degree (NFQ Level 8) in a Finance/ Economics/Mathematical/Statistical/Computer Science or associated discipline. Experience in a professional environment working with databases and using SQL to query, extract, transform, and clean data. Experience using analytical languages (e.g. SAS, Python, R). Highly PC literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Demonstrates a high level of attention to detail and accuracy, producing high quality work. Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to influence and engage with a wide range of stakeholders. This is a Permanent position for based in the St Stephens Green. Is this you?
