Analyst - Digital Forensics (entry-level opportunity) Description Our client is one of Ireland's leading law firms. They are currently seeking a talented individual interested in building a career in legal tech, eDiscovery, and Forensics technology within a fast-paced, client-focused business. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Legal Tech and Innovation Services group, where you will receive training in the litigation discovery process, including the EDRM and other industry models. This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity within the legal and eDiscovery industry. Key Responsibilities Communicate technical analysis to both technical and non-technical audiences. Provide support to client and internal teams on eDiscovery matters. Coordinate forensic data collections on large-scale matters. Perform acquisitions from, and analysis of, iOS and Android mobile devices. Perform acquisitions from cloud platforms. Prepare accurate chain of custody documentation. Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise 1-2 years of relevant experience in a similar role. Third-level qualification (preferred in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Math, or other related scientific or technical discipline). Familiarity with personal computer and server hardware, operating systems, and software, with some experience in computer forensics, e-Discovery, or a related technology role or university project. Familiarity with digital forensic principles is desirable but not essential. Knowledge of forensic imaging and analysis tools such as Guymager, FTK, EnCase, Cellebrite, Axiom, or Relativity is an advantage. Understanding of transact SQL and relational databases is desirable. Knowledge of data manipulation, data conversion, and data analysis techniques using Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of programming and scripting languages is desirable (Python, C, Java, PERL, SQL, Visual Basic). Skills Team player who thrives in a highly collaborative environment to achieve team goals.
