Senior Transfer Agency/Anti–Money Laundering Consultant sought for a leading custodian bank in Limerick, requiring leadership and expertise in AML operations, transfer agency, and client services.

Job Description:

This is a leadership position within the Investor AML Operations team, requiring a mindset focused on continuous improvement. The role involves coordinating across teams and functions to achieve process efficiencies and serves as a vital support for AML Management and the entire team.

The role necessitates building and maintaining strong relationships with the Transfer Agency and Client Services Departments, as well as other key stakeholders, to ensure the delivery of a robust AML Operations service to clients and investors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify problem areas using data, proposing and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients and partners in other departments.
  • Collaborate with management to ensure the Investor AML team meets audit, risk, and compliance standards.
  • Stay updated on AML regulations and best practices, using this knowledge to enhance AML processes and procedures.
  • Construct and deliver management information on an ad-hoc and scheduled basis, including oversight of outsourced locations.
  • Engage with Audit, Risk, Control, or Compliance teams as necessary to facilitate smooth reviews related to the AML team's controls.
  • Undertake ad-hoc tasks as needed by AML Management.

Requirements:

  • Extensive knowledge of day-to-day AML operations.
  • Familiarity with Transfer Agency operations and the broader funds administration sector.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • The ability to coordinate and influence across departments and functions.
  • Effective risk management skills.
  • Detailed knowledge of the AML regulatory environment in Ireland; additional knowledge of Luxembourg and UK regulations is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications relevant to the role.
