Network Engineer for Apple's Core Services Network Operations
Apple is seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join its Core Services Network Operations team, responsible for operating and maintaining the company's worldwide, multi-vendor network.
This role requires a collaborative teammate who can work with others around the globe, providing front-line support for Apple's network and addressing a wide variety of business challenges.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of large-scale LAN and WAN networking technologies, including IPv4, IPv6, BGP, IS-IS, and layer 2 technologies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Resolving incidents and maintaining and upgrading existing networks to current standards
- Sustaining operations and contributing to technical and procedural documentation
- Collaborating with internal and external teams to operate and maintain the network infrastructure
Preferred qualifications include:
- Proficiency with Linux
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Juniper JNCIA/JNCIP, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, or equivalent experience
