Job Description
Seeking a self-motivated individual to design, develop, and improve fastening solutions for customers, with a focus on identifying new application opportunities and conceptualizing innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop fastening solutions for new and existing customers, leveraging expertise in mechanical engineering and application engineering.
- Support sales activities with technical calls and visits, providing expert advice and guidance to key customers.
- Coordinate testing and development activities, ensuring seamless collaboration between manufacturing, purchasing, quality, sales, marketing, finance, and installation equipment departments.
- Generate manufacturing costs and submit to pricing coordinator, ensuring accurate and timely pricing.
- Provide technical support to customers, distributors, and regional sales managers, resolving complex issues and improving customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate training with new and key distributors and customers, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and product understanding.
Other Duties
- Communicate effectively with all business levels and support functions, including management, to ensure seamless collaboration and information sharing.
- Provide in-house training on application engineering and product offerings, enhancing employee knowledge and skills.
- Travel and promote application engineering and product development offerings, including new product releases, to external customers.
- Visit customers and authorized distributors, building strong relationships and identifying new business opportunities.
- Conduct research to stay up-to-date on new processes, products, and technologies, ensuring expertise and innovation.
Qualification:
- Third-level degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of engineering experience, with a focus on application engineering and problem-solving.
- Proficient in Solid Modelling software (Pro/E preferred) and Microsoft Office, with experience in engineering tools such as SPC.
- Experience with business software (ERP systems, JDE preferred) and finite element analysis, desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to interpret and communicate data accurately.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications, with flexibility in schedule to allow for travel.
