The Application Support Engineer is a key role within the company, supporting the overall mission of partnering for life.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support customers with technical and product requirements, including equipment selection and proposal preparation.
- Identify and select appropriate products and criteria, in conjunction with supplier partners.
- Provide technical support to customers related to process equipment and troubleshoot challenging operational issues.
- Partner with the Sales team to meet customers' needs and develop product training programs.
- Respond to technical and product questions from the Sales team and customers.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Mechanical engineering experience and/or degree.
- 5 years relevant experience in Application Engineering / Mechanical / Technical sales role.
- Experience in solving customer issues with technical and product recommendations.
- Technical product sales experience.
- Team players who enjoy a fast-paced and progressive environment.
