Seeking a skilled Application Security Engineer to enhance the security of critical applications, assess and mitigate security risks, and collaborate with development teams to embed secure coding practices.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform code reviews, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing to identify and mitigate security risks within applications.
- Collaborate with development teams to implement secure coding practices and ensure security is embedded in the SDLC process.
- Lead the development of automated security testing tools and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
- Contribute to incident response efforts and assist in resolving security incidents.
- Ensure compliance with industry security standards.
- Provide leadership and guidance on security best practices, influencing cross-functional teams and key stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and trends to proactively improve application security.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of application security principles, common vulnerabilities, and secure coding practices.
- Proven experience with security assessment tools, manual penetration testing, and conducting in-depth code reviews.
- Solid knowledge of web and mobile application security and the SDLC process.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java,.NET, Python, JavaScript, and web technologies like HTML, CSS, REST, and SOAP.
- Hands-on experience with cloud security in environments such as AWS or Azure.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders to ensure project success.
