The Role

As an Application Support Team Leader, you will manage a team responsible for supporting digital imaging systems in the healthcare domain. You will leverage your strong technical expertise, particularly in server, database, incident management & application support. In this role, managing the service, motivation & mentoring the team will be a constant theme, while liaising with stakeholders and end customers.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership & coordination.
  • Ensure technical oversight.
  • Manage service Desk availability, including Phone, Portal, Mail.
  • Manage service Level Agreements.
  • Oversee the performance Management & KPI's.
  • Manage governance of Operations and perform scheduling & Operation workforce planning.
  • Support recruitment & staffing teams.
  • Provide training and development.

Your Profile

Key skills/knowledge/experience:

  • Proven leadership skills and people / performance management experience.
  • IT Service management experience (Service Desk, Desktop/EUC, Infra or DC)
  • Technical expertise and Incident management capacity.
  • Analytical mindset.
  • Strategic & Innovative approach and proactive conviction.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to prioritise and manage workloads effectively.

Good to have:

  • ITSM / ITIL Certification advantageous.
  • Technical / Computer science related degree.
  • Secondary Language.
  • Candidates should hold appropriate right to works for long-term position in Ireland.
