Experienced Applications Engineer Required
Our client seeks a skilled and experienced Applications Engineer to design, develop, and implement healthcare applications to support clinical workflows, enhance patient care, and improve operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospital clinical and/or administrative processes and an understanding of healthcare regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and design systems to meet user needs and healthcare standards.
- Develop, test, and deploy applications using deployment tools, with training provided.
- Customise and configure systems to align with hospital and national requirements and workflows.
- Ensure security, reliability, and scalability of systems throughout implementation.
- Collaborate with integration teams to ensure seamless data exchange between different systems.
- Provide technical support and maintenance for systems, including bug fixes, performance optimisation, and system updates, with system training provided.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience (between 5 & 7+ years) as a user of healthcare application or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare systems, industry regulations (e.g. HIQA).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on delivering robust and scalable healthcare applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet project deadlines.
