Job Description
Microsoft 365 is seeking highly motivated AI practitioners to join its team of Applied Scientists and contribute to the development of innovative solutions that leverage advanced AI technologies.
A strong foundation in machine learning, with demonstrable experience in either industry or academia, is required. Successful candidates will join a newly formed team on a mission to deliver content excellence by transforming the way content is created, reviewed, and maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to all stages of the project lifecycle, including problem definition, data processing, exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, model development, model validation, model deployment, monitoring and iteration, results communication, and maintenance.
- Implement machine learning algorithms to optimize model performance and integrate the model into production systems for efficient operation.
- Establish and manage the cloud environment using Dev Ops practices to ensure stability and scalability.
- Report insights and successes through real-time dashboards.
Key Qualifications:
- Possess a strong grasp of machine learning concepts and be able to explain both theory and practical applications.
- Proficient in NLP techniques, with demonstrated success in project implementations.
- Effectively translate academic knowledge into solutions for real-world problems.
- Skilled in data analysis using Python, Pandas, and Jupyter Notebooks or similar.
- Proficient in C# or similar, with additional expertise in Python.
- Preferred experience in team-based development, utilizing Git for version control and managing release cycles.
