Job Summary
Seeking a skilled Applied Scientist with expertise in operation research to contribute to cutting-edge technologies and solutions in Dublin city. Key responsibilities include developing complex models, creating tools to quantify impact, and working with software development teams to implement simulation solutions.
Requirements:
- PhD in operation research, decision science, supply chain management, or econometrics
- Experience in converting real-world problems into mathematical models
- Proficiency in optimisation techniques and strong programming skills in Python, R, C, C++, or Julia
- Cloud background and working/research experience in supply chain simulation or business/operation simulations
- Proven track record of navigating through ambiguity and delivering results
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and understanding of causal inference
