Securitas Technology Ireland are currently recruiting for Apprentice Engineers Electronic Security Systems Engineer Apprentice Job Summary: As an Electronic Security Systems Engineer Apprentice at Securitas Technology Ireland,you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for designing,installing,and maintaining state-of-the-art electronic security systems.You will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of the industry,including access control,CCTV surveillance,intrusion detection,and fire alarms. Role : The role of the Apprentice Engineer is to ensure the delivery of a high standard of service by all engineers in their team. Uphold the Securitas Technology Values and company procedures To carry out any other job specific duties as appropriate To look after the needs of Securitas Technology Limited and their customers Meet all Health, Safety and Quality requirements for self to ensure team member compliance Carry out vehicle and stock control checks for Engineers in their region Responsibilities: Installation:Assist in the installation of electronic security systems,including wiring,configuring equipment,and testing functionality. Maintenance:Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of existing systems to ensure optimal performance. Learning and Development:Participate in ongoing training programs to enhance your technical skills and knowledge. Compliance:Adhere to industry standards and regulations related to electronic security systems. Requirements: Education:High school diploma or equivalent. Technical Aptitude:Strong interest in electronics,technology,and problem-solving. Physical Fitness:Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments. Customer Service:Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Teamwork:Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and customers. Desired Skills: Technical Knowledge:Basic understanding of electrical systems and networking concepts. Certification:Relevant certifications (e.g.,NICEIC,City & Guilds) are a plus. Experience:Previous experience in the security industry or related field is beneficial.
