**Metal Fabrication Apprenticeship Opportunity**
Become a metal fabrication apprentice in a leading modular engineering steel fabrication specialist, learning advanced techniques and contributing to the production of efficient-install solutions for industrial and construction markets.
Metal Fabrication Apprentice Role:
In this apprenticeship, you will learn on-the-job skills to become a metal fabricator, working with a variety of specialized hand and power tools, and contributing to the manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read 3D technical drawings to assess job requirements
- Use technologically advanced techniques such as BIM to extract job specific information
- Measure, mark, cut and tack steel materials
- Engage in safe workshop practices
- Assemble components and install steel systems on sites
- Assist in various manufacturing processes
- Adhere to safe systems of work and company policies and procedures
Apprenticeship Structure:
- Run in line with SOLAS guidelines
- Phased block releases to Education and Training Board facilities and Institutes of Technology
Competencies:
- Successful completion of relevant Junior and/or Leaving Certificate subjects
- Proven aptitude for metal works
- Excellent team player
