About the Role
- Work with the latest technologies to diagnose, test and repair faults in state-of-the-art facilities.
- Work with a range of brands including Jaguar, Land Rover, Volvo, Volkswagen, Seat, Skoda, Cupra, Ford and Polestar.
- Receive up-to-date training in relevant technologies as the brands evolve and grow their range and models.
- Work with the team to perform and report on vehicle health checks.
- Liaise with the service desk to communicate requirements, additional parts and repairs on customer vehicles.
Requirements
- Starting out fresh with no experience, just an interest in cars and becoming a fully qualified technician.
- Up to 3 years experience as an apprentice or completed a masters automotive programme.
- Ability to diagnose, test and repair faults using the latest technology.
- Experience working with EV and PHEV vehicles is not essential but an advantage.
- Attention to detail when completing documentation and IT systems.
- Be literate, numerate with fluent written & spoken English and good communication skills.
- Full, valid, clean driving licence.
- Knowledge and understanding of health and safety practices in the industry.
