Architect / Assigned Certifier A growing multidisciplinary consultancy with offices across Ireland is looking for a qualified Assigned Certifier to join their expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Architect, Engineer or Surveyor to take on a senior role within a well-established organisation, working on a variety of projects. As an Assigned Certifier, you will be responsible for overseeing the certification and inspection process, ensuring that all projects meet the required statutory standards. Your role will involve managing tenders, supervising contractors on-site, and overseeing the design certification process from start to finish. You'll be part of a collaborative team and have the chance to work on diverse projects. **Flexible Hybrid / Remote working options are available** Key Responsibilities: Prepare and supervise tendering procedures, and manage contractors on-site Oversee design certification and building inspections to ensure compliance with statutory regulations Collate and submit all necessary documents Develop and manage inspection plans during the construction phase, ensuring quality and safety standards are met Review drawings and sign off on statutory certificates Prepare and manage inspection frameworks and notification plans Maintain excellent communication with all stakeholders, from contractors to clients Required experience: Registered Architect, Chartered Building Surveyor, or Engineer with membership in a relevant professional body (RIAI, Engineers Ireland, SCSI) is essential 5+ years experience across a range of building types In-depth knowledge of design certification and building inspection processes is essential Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Eligibility to work in Ireland is essential Salary & Benefits: Salary: €60k - €75k DOE Flexible Hybrid / Remote working options Pension CPD Professional Subscriptions If you're a qualified Architect, Building Surveyor, or Engineer with a passion for overseeing high-quality projects and ensuring compliance, this is an excellent opportunity to join a growing and respected consultancy.
