Senior Architect - Healthcare Design

We are seeking a Senior Qualified Architect with a minimum of 10 years of experience in healthcare design to join our team.

About the Role

As a Senior Architect, you will be responsible for leading healthcare design projects, combining medical planning and operational needs with user client aspirations and context. You will work on projects from inception to completion, collaborating with cross-studio teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead healthcare design projects, ensuring successful outcomes that meet medical planning and operational needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-studio teams to deliver projects from inception to completion.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and user groups.
  • Ensure projects meet statutory approval processes and Building Regulations.
  • Work effectively with people at all levels and from all backgrounds, with excellent communication skills.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years post-qualification experience in healthcare design.
  • Motivated, enthusiastic, creative, and flexible person who can work well in a team and independently.
  • Previous project experience on healthcare projects is essential.
  • Client liaison and user group engagement experience is essential.
  • A working knowledge of HTM's and HBN's.
  • Autodesk Revit experience desirable, ADB or Codebook, Microsoft Access and Excel skills preferred.
  • Design Conscious with broad technical knowledge and construction detailing experience.
  • Able to work effectively with people at all levels and from all backgrounds and have excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK and Ireland and be able to take up a full-time role.
  • Hold a current driving licence.
