Architectural Technologist Excel Recruitment are deighted to assist our client, a leading residential developer, in hiring an Architectural Technologist to play a key role in managing the design and technical aspects of our projects, with a focus on sustainable communities. Reporting to the Technical Manager, this role will primarily involve houses and duplexes, with additional support on apartment blocks. Key Responsibilities for Architectural Technologist Coordinate and advise external consultants and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with timelines and budgets. Support the overall management of pre-construction design and technical processes. Organize and lead design team meetings, workshops, and presentations, ensuring a focus on quality, customer satisfaction, and design excellence. Develop design guidance materials and manage the technical information from the planning stage through to construction. Collaborate with in-house teams to provide technical guidance and maintain high standards across all projects. Stay informed on new building technologies and methods to improve design efficiency and innovation. Requirements for Architectural Technologist Degree in Architecture or Architectural Technology with 2+ years of experience, preferably in residential development. Solid knowledge of design detailing, construction methods, and building regulations. Experience in CAD and a practical, solution-oriented approach to problem-solving. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while meeting deadlines. Willingness to travel across sites in Dublin and hold a full driving licence.
