Responsibilities:

  1. Work closely with architects to develop detailed, technically sound solutions that enhance and support the design intent of each project.
  2. Lead the technical delivery of projects, ensuring effective coordination and a high standard of technical detailing throughout.
  3. Establish and uphold quality control procedures within the office, maintaining rigorous standards across all project stages.
  4. Refine and detail design plans, ensuring compliance with Irish Building Regulations, BCAR, and statutory requirements.
  5. Provide strong leadership within the team, mentoring junior staff and ensuring smooth project progression from concept through to completion.
  6. Demonstrate a keen eye for design, ensuring that technical solutions consistently align with and elevate the overall design vision.

Job Requirements:

  1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in an Architectural Technologist role, ideally at a mid-senior level.
  2. Exceptional attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work and resolving technical challenges effectively.
  3. Strong problem-solving skills, always striving to find the best technical solutions to support the overall design vision.
  4. Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and effectively lead a team.
  5. Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential, and experience with Vectorworks is advantageous.
  6. Fluent English, both written and verbal, is essential.
