Job Description
We are seeking an Area Commercial Sales Manager for our Dublin showroom, responsible for developing business with architects, specifiers, designers, and contractors in the greater Dublin area and beyond.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing business with existing and new clients, including designers, architects, building contractors, and developers.
- Promoting Armatile's unique design and manufacturing service to existing and new clients.
- Identifying and exploiting market opportunities.
- Organising regular sales/technical presentations to clients.
- Liaising closely with marketing, design, production, and administration teams to fully develop and exploit sales opportunities.
- Setting and achieving sales targets.
- Attending sales presentations, networking events, and trade exhibitions.
- Maintaining project and company databases and submitting reports to time deadlines.
Essential criteria:
- Knowledge and experience of the specification market in relation to a construction-related product or service.
- Full clean driving license.
- IT skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Self-motivation, organisation, and good interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively on your own as well as part of a dynamic creative team.
- Ability to problem solve and be creative when dealing with customers and co-workers.
- Demonstrated entrepreneurial capabilities and the ability to win sales.
- Flexibility to work when and where required.
Desirable criteria:
- Design qualification or experience working in a design environment.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent.
- Experience of sales in the tile industry or related industry, such as wooden flooring, carpets, or vinyl.
