Area Manager
Morgan McKinley is recruiting an Area Manager on behalf of our client, a leading provider of comprehensive support for people with disabilities in Ireland.
The Area Manager is responsible for the planning, development and implementation of high quality person-centred vocational training across Limerick and Clare.
Requirements:
- Experience in a similar management role for at least five years is preferred.
- Experience in managing, leading and developing a multidisciplinary team strong people management skills are essential.
- Experience of working in a quality focused training environment.
- The promotion and marketing of the service to prospective learners, their families and carers and to the broader community.
- Ability to engage stakeholders at all levels within the organisation and externally.
- Experience in the development of formal community partnerships that develops, strengthens and enhances service provision, both internally and externally.
- Proven track record of working on own initiative, as part of a team, to manage complex projects to deliver clear objectives in the required timeline to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in ongoing management of training and development for service users with LCETBfunded programs.
- Manage the progress of each service user through the process including recruitment, assessment, induction, and the Individual Action Planning process.
- Ensure effective implementation and management of training programs to meet objectives and maintain compliance with quality standards.
- Ensure that appropriate mental health strategies are in place, at all times, to facilitate mental health gains for service users.
- Ensure efficient management and administration of all resources.
