Regional Sales Representative sought for indigenous organisation in Cork City, responsible for achieving sales targets, managing customer relationships, and new business development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed sales targets within the relevant region.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities while maintaining and nurturing existing customer relationships and portfolio.
  • Conduct regular sales visits to prospective and existing clients to promote company products and services.
  • Monitor sales performance and activity levels to provide accurate and timely sales forecasts, reports, and updates to the sales management team.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and drive continuous improvement.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to expand brand awareness and generate leads.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years field sales experience, preferably in the packaging or related industry.
  • Proven track record of growing existing business and identifying and developing new opportunities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively with customers.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities independently.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with a proactive approach to achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
