Post Silicon Power and Performance Engineer
Qualcomm is seeking a highly skilled Post Silicon Power and Performance Engineer to join our team in Cork, Ireland. As a key member of our engineering group, you will be responsible for characterizing, debugging, and optimizing the performance and power consumption of CPUs in complex SoC systems.
About the Role
- Define and execute end-to-end performance and power analysis plans for complex CPU subsystems
- Debug issues found during pre-silicon, bring-up, validation, and production phases of SoC programs
- Develop deep knowledge of CPU architecture, SoC system architecture, system benchmarking techniques, and power reduction and optimization methods
- Drive technical innovation to enhance capabilities in CPU performance, system performance, and power validation
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
- 5 to 10+ years of practical experience in post silicon performance and power analysis of SoCs
- Strong programming/scripting skills (C/C++, Python scripts)
- Strong analytical skills for test plan creation and debug
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
